Kestrels 2025 - 2026
Welcome to our homepage.
'Encourage one another and build each other up' 1 Thessalonians 5:11
We are the school's Year 5 and 6 pupils. In the Kestrels class, we strive to always encourage each other and build each other up and do this through living out our Christian values: joy, community, trust, respect, courage and friendship.
Welcome back to the second part of the Autumn term. We've got lots of exciting activities to do this term. In English we'll be studying a book called 'Can we save the Tiger?' by Martin Jenkins. All of our English writing will be based on this book this half term. In Maths, we'll be using the White Rose scheme beginning with Fractions and then moving on to percentages and decimals. In Science, we'll be studying Electricity - so lots of practical experiments and investigations. The Anglo Saxons and Vikings will still be the focus of our History topic, we'll be studying the impact these people had upon the culture and landscape of the British Isles.
