Y1/ 2: New Year, New Topic!

Happy New Year! We have started the new school term with our exciting new topic 'Earth and Beyond!' We will be learning all about the different weather types in the UK and around the world. This week we have started to keep a daily record of the temperature and rainfall and will collate our findings in a couple of weeks time. We are also keeping a close eye on the weather in other countries around the world so we can compare and discuss. Please encourage your children to watch the weather reports on TV so that they can become familiar with the language used as we will be carrying out our own weather reports over the coming weeks.
