House Martins 2023 - 2024

Welcome to our homepage.

Our class includes children in Years 3 and 4, Mrs Callister and Mrs Hughes and we also have support from our wonderful Teaching Assistant, Mrs Huxtable.

Mrs Hughes teaches at the beginning of the week, with Mrs Callister joining her on a Wednesday for the rest of the week. 

We enjoy teaching our class in a nurturing, Christian environment where we strive to provide a happy, stimulating and safe place to be; bringing out the best in everyone.

Useful information

Outdoor exploring dates:

Session 1: Wednesday 17 April 2024 (This session will be at Burdwardsley as part of the residential visit)

Session 2: Wednesday 24 April 2024

Session 3: Wednesday 1 May 2024

Outdoor exploring: Black tracksuit bottoms/leggings, school polo shirt, school jumper, cardigan or fleece and school shoes.  Waterproofs, warm socks and wellies will be worn when outside.

PE days:

We will have P.E every MONDAY during the summer term.

In addition, we will also have P.E. on Wednesday after half term with Mrs Shone. Our Wednesday P.E. sessions will therefore start on Wednesday 5th June and continue until the end of the summer term.

On class PE days, could you please ensure the children come to school dressed in black / navy shorts or dark jogging bottoms, Tilston T-shirt, school sweatshirt or cardigan and trainers. 

Homework will be given out on a Monday and marked in class the following Monday.
