Y1/2 Toys in Space

In class we have been reading a book called 'Toys in Space'.

On a warm summers night, the toys were left out in the garden when suddenly a bright light appears and  beams them up into a spaceship!

We have been reading a few pages at a time to build up the anticipation of what will happen next. The children are slowing beginning to piece together and predict the story plot. They all predicted that there would be aliens somewhere in the story and this week they finally met...Hoctopize. He's a friendly alien who needs the toys help to find his favourite toy, Cuddles. How they will help him we still don't know but we are having fun guessing!

Hoctopize looks like a glove so we decided to design and make our very own aliens.
