We believe that regular school attendance is important to all children if they are to take full advantage of the educational opportunities available to them. Irregular attendance undermines the educational process and leads to educational disadvantage. It may also place children at risk.
We actively pursue the goal of regular attendance by investigating all absences, and positively encouraging parents to understand the importance of regular attendance and urging families to take holidays concurrently with school holidays.
All members of staff are concerned for the children's welfare and well-being and everyone plays a part in promoting regular attendance among the pupils.
