House Martins- making Anglo-Saxon brooches

As part of our Anglo-Saxon topic, we have been discovering what the Anglo-Saxons used to wear. We found out that they used brooches to fasten their cloaks. These brooches were often round, symmetrical and might have included coloured stones. 

We used what we learnt to design and make our own brooches. We're really pleased with the results.
