Big blue whale

This week we have combined our literacy, maths and science topics. We researched information about different sea creatures to discover how big they are. We found out the blue whale is 30m long. We then sorted and compared the animals before heading outside to estimate and measure how long a big blue whale is. We were amazed at just how long 30m was on the field!
